        Talk about a modern redesign on a traditional Chicago home! Recently, our team had the pleasure of working one-on-one with the client at 7960 W. Gregory Street, creating a completely custom and unique design to bring their ultra-sleek and modern vision to life. This beautiful brick ranch home located in Chicago is truly a must-see, especially if you are interested in the black accented designs that are growing in popularity all over the country. Not only did the Michon team of exterior specialists add value to the home by significantly modernizing its curb appeal, but with the installation of quality and durable products, we’ve been able to save the home-owner money for decades to come by maximizing the home’s energy efficiency.         Beginning with the soffits, our team of certified experts installed new Premium Vinyl Invisible Vented Soffits with Fascia in the ever-popular color, black! The product is known for regulating humidity found within the attic which has a direct effect on stabilizing the temperature throughout the entire home – season to season. We completed this portion of the project with new seamless gutters and oversized downspouts in black.

        The windows and doors also received a MAJOR update. Our dedicated and experienced local contractors and exterior specialists replaced all of the existing windows with Thermal Triple-Pane DH windows (color: black) with two casements on the front of the house and awnings windows in the back.  The window upgrades not only boosted the home’s energy efficiency levels, but provided more consistent and stable year-round comfort. All windows have ClimaTech® ThermD TG2 insulating glass (Low-E) and argon gas with a manufacturer’s lifetime, transferable warranty against glass breakage (unless specified otherwise).

        At this modern Chicago exterior renovation, our home siding technicians also installed a Michon Signature Custom Aluminum Trim Beveled Frame & Overlap System for all of the windows, doors and fascia. This feature not only looks exceptional but more importantly, significantly reinforces the connection between the siding and trim with NO CAULKING – leading to superior stability and guaranteed to be maintenance free. We completed the remodel with seamless gutters (0,032) and oversized downspouts throughout. The newly installed gutter guards guarantee maintenance free construction with a Limited Lifetime Warranty on all the materials used in carrying out the project.

        We completed this modern revival by replacing the old dated garage doors with two beautiful black insulated garage doors featuring eight built-in panels. We then installed two storm doors with a completely custom black frame trim.
