The biggest change to this home was the brand new roof! We started the project by completely tearing off 2 layers of the old and dated roof shingles and replacing them with New Owens Corning Duration Series Shingles in the architectural style.  These shingles come with a lifetime warranty and an Ice & Water shield!         

At this particular home, the homeowners chose a Colonial Slate color for their new roof. It’s a timeless color and goes beautifully with the current aesthetic of the rest of their home. We completed the roof renovation with roofing felt installation, an Owens Corning Duration Series ridge cap, starter strip, a new ‘Snow Country’ ridge vent, a new lead pipe, a new power vent, and new chimney flashing. To finish off this project, we made a custom drip edge. It is a TOTAL roofing rehaul and will make a huge impact on their homes’ heating and cooling efficiency.

Next we took on the skylights on the roof by replacing three dated skylights with the VELUX Skylight System which includes the skylight, room darkening shade and remote control. The new windows have solar-powered, remote-controlled shades that are PREINSTALLED for optimal light, glare, and climate control. No matter if it is hot or cold outside, you are capable of maximizing the temperature control in your home. The solar-powered shades also provide homeowners another resource for energy efficiency by giving homeowners access to more natural sunlight and ventilation, minimizing the need for electricity. We completed the exterior renovation by replacing the old gutters with new seamless aluminum gutters (0.032”) that feature oversized downspouts  The gutters were installed in the wicker color for a seamless look between the gutters and the roof.
