Catherine Avenue to design a custom bright and refreshed exterior redesign that highlighted the traditional architectural aspects of the home’s exterior while providing the homeowners with elevated energy efficiency levels and structural durability for decades to come – adding value to the home!

We began the renovation on this traditional colonial-styled home by completely tearing off the old dated aluminum exterior and replacing it with Ascend Composite Cladding Siding (color: White) around the home and the garage. The product is ideal for not warping, fading, shrinking, swelling, rotting, or proving problematic during installation (unlike other siding systems). Different from wood and fiber cement/hardie board siding that requires constant maintenance (such as touch ups or repainting every 5-10 years), Composite Cladding gives homeowners years of maintenance-free upkeep while maintaining its great look. Additionally, the industry-leading lifetime warranty guarantees lasting beauty and superior performance – truly giving homeowners peace of mind. The corners of the home were finished with 7″ Fluted Corner Posts. For the front gable and the garage, we also completed the new exterior design with ARCHITECTURAL SCALLOPS. 

Our home siding technicians also installed a Michon Signature Custom Aluminum Trim Beveled Frame & Overlap System for all of the windows, doors and fascia. This feature not only looks exceptional but more importantly, significantly reinforces the connection between the siding and trim with NO CAULKING – leading to superior stability and guaranteed to be maintenance free. The gutters surrounding the roofline were also replaced with new color coordinating seamless gutters (0,032), oversized downspouts and gutter guards. The new gutters feature completely maintenance-free construction and a limited lifetime warranty on all of the materials used in carrying out the project.

For the soffit, we installed a Reinforced Premium Vinyl Vented Soffit. With its exclusive TriBeam(r) System, Charter Oak is known in the industry as being one of the most rigid vinyl soffit products. It effortlessly spans uneven surfaces, delivering even course lines while resisting sagging in the long run. Customers often use Charter Oak soffit as an attractive, low-maintenance option for porch ceilings, overhangs, or focal points where you want to create high impact appeal. The product also comes with aeration openings hidden inside the panel’s grooves proving the airflow needed to reduce heat and humidity build-up in attics.

Not only did the home benefit from big aesthetic changes but also structural ones! Just like all Michon siding projects, our dedicated and experienced local contractors and exterior specialists installed a Tyvek vapor barrier wrap at this LaGrange Cladding Siding Renovation with custom field-fabricated flashing to tightly seal and reinforce the installation and the connections between the wall and siding (with absolutely no caulking!). These steps are critical to securely protect the home against sensitive gaps and spots that are invisible to the eye.
