This is exactly the experience we brought to the homeowners at 305 Morse Drive when we proudly gave their home a brand new look. We transformed this split-level home from high-maintenance to high-performance by replacing all the windows, siding, doors, soffit/fascia and gutters on the house and the garage!

SIDING: We started the siding project by tearing off the old date vinyl exterior siding and the old soffit and gutters. Next, our dedicated and experienced local contractors and exterior specialists wrapped the exterior of the home with a Tyvek vapor barrier wrap. We then installed a beautiful Ascend Composite Cladding siding – the ultimate “set it and forget it” siding. The siding product is ideal for not warping, fading, shrinking, swelling, rotting, or proving problematic during installation (unlike other siding systems). The homeowners chose the color pebble for their home’s exterior. 

Different from wood and fiber cement/hardie board siding that requires constant maintenance (such as touch ups or repainting every 5-10 years), Composite Cladding gives homeowners years of maintenance-free upkeep while maintaining its great realistic wooden appearance. The siding has all of the combined benefits of vinyl siding, engineered wood and fiber cement/hardie board, but none of the issues of flaws! Additionally, the industry-leading lifetime warranty guarantees lasting beauty and superior performance – truly giving homeowners peace of mind. We completed the siding with custom field fabricated flashing.  

WINDOWS: Next came the window projects. Every single window on this home received a major upgrade in looks and function! We installed (2) Alside Triple-Pane 3-lite Sliding SL Windows with a half screen (color: Bronze / White), (10) Alside Triple-Pane SL Windows with a full screen (color: Bronze / White), (1) Alside Triple-Pane Casement Window (color: Bronze / White) with a left-side opening and (3) Alside Triple-Pane DH Windows with a full screen (color: Bronze / White). This will create a HUGE change for the homeowners, not only with increased energy savings, but clear views throughout their home. All of the windows have a new buck frame and a new 3 ¼“ casing. The ClimaTech ® PriMEThermD windows also feature ClimaTech® ThermD TG2 insulating glass (Low-E) and argon gas with a manufacturer’s lifetime, transferable warranty against glass breakage (unless specified otherwise). 

DOORS: Let’s move on to the next big change, the doors! The front and back doors were replaced with custom fiberglass doors. For the front door, the homeowners chose Door 351D and both the Inside/Outside color is Provincial. For the garage door, we installed a six panel fiberglass door in a white color.

Our home siding technicians also installed a Michon Signature Custom Aluminum Trim Beveled Frame & Overlap System for all of the windows and doors. This feature not only looks exceptional but more importantly, significantly reinforces the connection between the siding and trim with NO CAULKING – leading to superior stability and guaranteed to be maintenance free. 

SOFFIT: For the soffit, we installed a Reinforced Premium Vinyl Vented Soffit. Customers often use Charter Oak soffit as an attractive, low-maintenance option for porch ceilings, overhangs, or focal points where you want to create high impact appeal (for eaves, specify Charter Oak ventilated soffit paneling). The product also features aeration openings that are hidden inside the panel’s grooves to provide the airflow needed to reduce heat and humidity build-up in attics.

    • All windows have ClimaTech® ThermD TG2 insulating glass and argon gas. Windows also feature a manufacturer’s lifetime, transferable warranty and Glass Breakage and unless specified otherwise.
• Gutters: Installed Seamless Aluminum Gutters (0,032”) with oversized downspouts.
