SIDING:

After stripping away the original cedar wood siding, our dedicated and experienced local contractors and exterior specialists wrapped the entire home in a high-performance Tyvek vapor barrier wrap to create a weather-tight seal. We then installed premium Composite siding in a rich Harbor Blue finish. Unlike traditional wood or fiber cement products that demand repainting every few years, this composite system won’t warp, fade, swell, or rot—offering a completely maintenance-free exterior with effortless curb appeal. Supported by an industry-leading lifetime warranty, the project was finished with custom field-fabricated window flashing and sleek 5” composite corners for a clean, tailored fit. We wrapped up this entire project by adding six pairs of levered shutters in a white color.

TRIM:

We weatherproofed this exterior using our exclusive Michon Signature Custom Aluminum Trim Beveled Frame & Overlap System in White, applying it around every doors, window, freeze & fascia boards. Designed to bridge the gap between siding and trim with flawless structural integrity, its smart overlap construction requires no caulk whatsoever. This prevents common failure points like peeling or cracked sealant, giving homeowners a sharp, long-lasting aesthetic that stands up to severe Chicago winters with zero upkeep. 

GUTTERS:

We finalized this full exterior renovation by installing a heavy-duty drainage system using thick .032 gauge seamless gutters and oversized downspouts in White. To protect against clogs and eliminate recurring maintenance, we topped the gutters with high-performance gutter guards for permanent, free-flowing performance. Every component installed comes backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty, offering complete peace of mind and long-lasting defense against the elements.

SOFFIT:

For the soffit, we selected Alside’s Charter Oak® Reinforced Premium Vinyl Vented Soffit. With its exclusive TriBeam(r) System, Charter Oak is known in the industry as being one of the most rigid vinyl soffit products. It effortlessly spans uneven surfaces, delivering even course lines while resisting sagging in the long run. Customers often use Charter Oak soffit as an attractive, low-maintenance option for porch ceilings, overhangs, or focal points where you want to create high impact appeal (for eaves, specify Charter Oak ventilated soffit paneling). The product also features aeration openings that are hidden inside the panel’s grooves to provide the airflow needed to reduce heat and humidity build-up in attics.
